Norifumi Ninokata, MTech

As president of DZS Clinical Services, Norifumi Ninokata (Nino) brings vast international business and clinical research experience to our seasoned leadership team.

Ninokata joined the Japan-based WDB Group, parent company of DZS Clinical Services, in 2005 and took part in strategic planning, personnel management and subsidiary oversight. After leading the WDB Group in multiple merger and acquisition activities in Japan, Ninokata became president and CEO of Business Succession Partners Co., Ltd. in 2010, contributing to the expansion of the CRO business for the WDB Group. In 2011, WDB Group established the subsidiary, WDB Medical Data, in Princeton, New Jersey, to expand its CRO business by providing pharmacovigilance services, regulatory affairs and a medical call center. Following this expansion of services, Ninokata assumed the role of president and CEO in 2015. Ninokata further led the acquisition of DZS Clinical Services in 2018, taking on the role of president of the newly formed global CRO.

Ninokata received a Master of Technology in technology management in 2013 and a BS in fluid mechanics, both from Tokyo University of Science.
